Boise for State

Lately life has been pretty crazy. So, a couple of weeks ago I went to both girl's stat basket ball and the boy's with the band. It was a pretty good deal. I got into all the games pretty much free and just got to hang out with friends for a couple of days. Of course there was the fifty dollar fee. It was so much fun. One day we went to the discovery center to see what was there. It was really amazing. I even got to lay on a bed of nails.

This was a lot of the people on the bus down to the Boy's State. It was kind of funny. There was only six girls who went to the boy's. We all joked that we would get three boys to a girl. It was pretty funny.
Both our teams did really good. The Girls team had a perfect season and took state. Our boys also did really good. They took third at state.

I haven't blogged FOREVER!

Well this has been a while and a ton has happened. So lets see if I can think of the funnest and coolest things I've done in the last while.

Les Miserable

I was in the play at our school and we did Les Miserable. It was so fun to be in. The music and the story line are amazing. The leads were very good singers and actors. The only sad part is that I didn't get to see it.

This picture is of my friend Carly and I on stage during the Master of the House song. We didn't have to try to hard in that scene to act like we were having fun. Everyone on stage was laughing, dancing, singing and just having a good time.

This is a picture in the green room of everyone who wanted to jump in from the cast.

At one of the many times our cast went to Dairy Queen, Patrick and I made up a game with cup lids and straws. You had to suck the cup with the straw of the table before the other person could. We were laughing so hard. So, that night we took a ton of straws and lids so we could play it during intermission. It was a big hit with everyone there. I am surprised the audience didn't hear us laughing. The picture below is of us playing the game.

Drama and Speech Tournaments

Besides the play I have also gone to speech and drama competitions. I have done pretty good, but mostly just had a lot of fun. In drama I did a humorous ensable called Almost the Bride of Dracula, and a original serious duo called My Mom Loves Me and it was written by Burkley Rudd from my school, and I also modeled a dress Paige and Sarah made.

This is a picture of my friends Drew, Carly and me.

This is Garry Chang our exchange student from Taiwan. We don't know his real name he just told us to call him his nickname, Garry. He is so funny. He is so much fun to hang out with.

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun. We just stayed at home.Got up around 8, yeah our family get up late, opened one present. We got Beautiful quilts from my grandma Cheney. They were amazing. Then we went and ate a big breakfast and went back and opened the rest of the presents. I got tons of socks. I LOVE SOCKS. I got socks with bells on them, socks with pink stripes that go to my knee, and tons more. One Christmas present none of us thought we would ever get we got. My mom and dad took us on a scavenger hunt to find it. All over the house and town were it ended at my grandma and grandpa Parkinson's house. There we just sat and talked for almost and hour, until Brooklyn saw the Wii. Then she asked "Grandma you guys got a Wii for Christmas". My dad just said, "No, we got a Wii for Christmas." We couldn't believe it. and we didn't forever. Until it was at our house and playing it. It was so funny.

Christmas Breakfast. I think we're all a little excited.

At Grandma and Grandpa Parkinson's house after getting our Wii.

Well this was fun. I will see if I can do it tomorrow.

District Drama

Yesterday, our school went to Rigby for District Drama. We had a huge team. I had two pieces. Almost the Bride of Dracula, which is a humorous ensemble, and My mom loves me, an original serious ensemble. My favorite was Almost the Bride of Dracula. Then I was a model. So I wore a dress that Paige and Sarah made while they did their interview sort of thing. It was all so much fun. Sugar did and amazing job and I get to go to State. YAY! Almost the Bride of Dracula got 3rd I think, My Mom Loves Me, is an alternate, and the dress got 2nd i think. Every one was so excited. I am so excited for state. Last year I didn't even go to districts because I didn't have a piece, and then this year I get to go to State. Well that is what I have been up to this weekend.

Football Games in Idaho

Last night I went to a football game at South Fremont with my friend Kameron. It was 30 degrees outside windy and not very fun. We were wearing so many layers we could barely move and we were still freezing. It was an adventure all right. When we got back to her truck we couldn't feel our toes and fingers. We thought we looked so funny we decided to take pictures. I am sure we looked pretty funny from the outside, because right then the other schools team was walking by. You could only see our eyes and a flash going of every ones in a while. We were laughing so hard, for some reason. Afterwards we went to the gas sation and got some goodies. I have never wanted hot chocolate so much. It was really fun, but I don't think we will be doing that again any time soon. Today hasn't changed much, but it did start snowing. The first snow fall of the year. I'm not sure if I excited for winter to come or not. Oh well, I am sure my friends and I will still have lots of fun.

Grandma and Grandpa Moser's House

This week, our last week of spud harvest, we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house for a couple of days. We always have so much fun there. We helped them with there carrots, tied a quilt, went and saw Momma Mia, and went to Pizza Hut. We all had so much fun talking and playing. We all worked really hard and played really hard too. I am so glad my family is so close. It is a little early for Thanksgiving and all, but I am so grateful for my whole family.

Cedar City

These leopard print sunglasses that Devin and I are wearing we won. We were at the mall and got these from those machine things with the claw. We were so excited we got them. We didn't think we would be able to, but we did. YA!!

In these two pictures Jaron and I took Shelby's glasses and were trying them on. We don't look to bad with glasses on. haha.

Lexie and I were able to go to Cedar City for the Shakespeare competition. Lexie went with the Jr. high and I went with the high school. It was really fun. We all did so well. We were going up against about six different schools that were performing arts. so like pros. We got first over all and our ensembles got second. Our ensemble was different so it was amazing we did so well. it was the Shakespeare sonnets, but we set it in the time of the Holocaust. It was just WOW! We even made the judges cry. They didn't really have a think they didn't like about it. In fact they liked it so much they had us performance at the rewards ceremony. That has never happened before. So we were performing in front of more than 2600 people. There just isn't words for how amazing it was. It was a really great experience.
