District Drama

Yesterday, our school went to Rigby for District Drama. We had a huge team. I had two pieces. Almost the Bride of Dracula, which is a humorous ensemble, and My mom loves me, an original serious ensemble. My favorite was Almost the Bride of Dracula. Then I was a model. So I wore a dress that Paige and Sarah made while they did their interview sort of thing. It was all so much fun. Sugar did and amazing job and I get to go to State. YAY! Almost the Bride of Dracula got 3rd I think, My Mom Loves Me, is an alternate, and the dress got 2nd i think. Every one was so excited. I am so excited for state. Last year I didn't even go to districts because I didn't have a piece, and then this year I get to go to State. Well that is what I have been up to this weekend.

We had a lot of fun last night. We sang and danced to the Beach Boys, Abba (Mamma Mia), and a bunch of Christmas songs. It was a dinner show so we got REALLY good food afterwards too. BONUS!

Football Games in Idaho

Last night I went to a football game at South Fremont with my friend Kameron. It was 30 degrees outside windy and not very fun. We were wearing so many layers we could barely move and we were still freezing. It was an adventure all right. When we got back to her truck we couldn't feel our toes and fingers. We thought we looked so funny we decided to take pictures. I am sure we looked pretty funny from the outside, because right then the other schools team was walking by. You could only see our eyes and a flash going of every ones in a while. We were laughing so hard, for some reason. Afterwards we went to the gas sation and got some goodies. I have never wanted hot chocolate so much. It was really fun, but I don't think we will be doing that again any time soon. Today hasn't changed much, but it did start snowing. The first snow fall of the year. I'm not sure if I excited for winter to come or not. Oh well, I am sure my friends and I will still have lots of fun.

Grandma and Grandpa Moser's House

This week, our last week of spud harvest, we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house for a couple of days. We always have so much fun there. We helped them with there carrots, tied a quilt, went and saw Momma Mia, and went to Pizza Hut. We all had so much fun talking and playing. We all worked really hard and played really hard too. I am so glad my family is so close. It is a little early for Thanksgiving and all, but I am so grateful for my whole family.

Cedar City

These leopard print sunglasses that Devin and I are wearing we won. We were at the mall and got these from those machine things with the claw. We were so excited we got them. We didn't think we would be able to, but we did. YA!!

In these two pictures Jaron and I took Shelby's glasses and were trying them on. We don't look to bad with glasses on. haha.

Lexie and I were able to go to Cedar City for the Shakespeare competition. Lexie went with the Jr. high and I went with the high school. It was really fun. We all did so well. We were going up against about six different schools that were performing arts. so like pros. We got first over all and our ensembles got second. Our ensemble was different so it was amazing we did so well. it was the Shakespeare sonnets, but we set it in the time of the Holocaust. It was just WOW! We even made the judges cry. They didn't really have a think they didn't like about it. In fact they liked it so much they had us performance at the rewards ceremony. That has never happened before. So we were performing in front of more than 2600 people. There just isn't words for how amazing it was. It was a really great experience.

Four-wheeling Fun

This was at Uncle Roger's and Aunt Sue's. We went out to visit them when we were in Gooding. While we were waiting for Great Grandpa Cheney to come home Uncle Roger brought out his four-wheelers. It was a lot of fun. After a while we started to explore and started going through some sprinklers. By the time Grandpa had come home we were soaked to the bone. When we were visiting with him he brought out some Popsicles and said we could help our selves. So we all sat out on the porch swing laughing and giggling. We all had such a great time. Especially since we hadn't seen each other for 2 months. Times like those are ones I am going to remember for ever.

Hill Cumorah

This was in the Sacred Grove. It was so peaceful in the grove. As soon as you walked in it was silent. You could tell everyone in there could feel the spirit and just wanted to soak it up it seemed. It was an amazing experience.
We went camping in Palmyra when we went to see the Pageant. It was a lot of fun. Our camp sight had a little pond you could catch fish. We rented a little paddle boat they had. There were two snapping turtles in the water so we were chasing them and feeding them bread to get a closer look. We had a really good time.
The Hill Cumorah Pageant Stage. It was so amazing how many things that stage could do. The whole show was really good. I Loved it. I hope I will be able to go again someday.
Jeff really loved the show. He was clapping his hands and laughing. It was so cute. It was really fun to watch him.

Jeff's Birthday

Jeff's birthday was on the tenth. We had a lot of fun. Sadie made the cutest Elmo cake, we all went to Central Park to have a picnic, than went home and opened presents and ate cake.

He got a mini trapolie, and his grandma and granpa goddard gave him a kit with a little tent, sleeping bag, back pack, water bottle, and a compass all with the movie "cars" theme. It was really cute. He loved them both a ton.

We all had a really good time. Central Park was really fun. We just ate and played with Jeff. It was a perfect day too. It wasn't to hot and humid like it usually is. It was a really good day.

Six Flags

While I was in New Jersey, I went with Katie, Megan, John, Israel, Megan's dad, and brother Micheal. It was so much fun. We went on almost ALL of the big rides. I was so proud of my self for not chickening out. I even put my hands up on some of the big roller coasters. Everyone was so much fun. I really hope we all can do it again.

Katie, Me, and Megan. It was raining and we got soaked.
We went on the tea cups three times in a row. It was pretty fun. We were all laughing so hard. I am really surprised we all didn't get sick. It was a ton of fun.

Greenwood Lake

Jeff and Sadie
The whole family

The ice cream shop
Jeff and I smiling for the camera
Jeff and I watching the ducks and making quacking noises, Jeff is really good at that

Today we went to Greenwood Lake. We first went to the beach and played in the sand. Jeff does not like putting his feet in the sand. It was pretty funny. He was sitting on my lap and Sadie took his shoes off, so he was like balancing on me so he wouldn't touch the sand. Later on he started walking around. We saw some ducks and they came really close to Jeff and I. Then we made some really big feet prints in the sand. Scott tried to make a bridge.

Then for dinner we went to Doc's pizza or something like that. They had REALLY good fries. They were so good. We then went to the cutest ice cream place with a really great view. The ice cream was homemade and really really good. You could tell it was a really popular place, because it was kind of out of the way, but it was really busy. There were at least 30 or more cars out front. I would really like to go there again some day. It was really fun.

After that we went back to the lake and watched fireworks over the lake. It was pretty cool to see them with the reflection in the water. There was so much smoke though, you couldn't really see the fireworks. So that was kind of a bummer. Poor Jeff was so tired, and scared, because there were people right by us doing some really big ones, the type they do in the show, that were really loud, it scared him so bad. He just clung to me. He even grabbed my had to cover his ears and eyes. I felt so bad for the little guy. So we went home early, but it was a great day. Very relaxing and fun. I hope we can do it again some time.

The Fourth of July

Yesterday for the Fourth, we got together at the church with some of people from the ward. I really like their ward, it really is just one big family. We ate tons and tons of food. I learned how to play the Mexican Train and Ticket to Ride. I was so close to winning both of those games. It was so much fun. Then we were all going to go watch fireworks, but instead we played volleyball. We all had so much fun. We might get together and play Volleyball again. We all just had such a good time. Hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July.

Bronx Zoo

On July 2nd we went to the Bronx Zoo, and we went with one of Sadie's friends Ruth. She as four little kids. It was free since we went on Wednesday, so it was REALLY busy. We really didn't see to many animals. It was just so crowded. We did see a polar bear, Jeff really liked that. We also went through the world of darkness, and saw bats, alligator looking animals, and mini monkeys.

Where we stopped for lunch there were lots of animals in this area behind us. That is were we saw the most animals. There were monkeys, birds, deer sort of things, all in the same area. Jeff and the other kids that went with us just sat on the fence the whole time just memorized. It was so fun to watch them.

Statue of Liberty

On July 1st we went to Liberty State Park to see the Statue of Liberty. It was a perfect day too. It wasn't so hot. We took lots of pictures and watched people go crabbing on the pier. Jeff loved it. We played on the jungle gym, and ran around. To get a better look and the Statue of Liberty and the city we looked through binocular things. It was really cool. I loved it. Someday I would really like to go onto Liberty Island and go on a tour through the Statue of Liberty. Well I just really had a lot of fun.

Palisades

Yesterday I went to Palisades with Anna. It was the biggest mall I have ever seen. It had a Ferris wheel and a carousel on the inside, and every store you could possibly think of. We had so much fun. In one store that sold wedding and prom dresses, we went and picked out dresses for each other to try on. Mine was really really puffy. It felt like one hundred pounds. It was really pretty, if only it had sleeves and didn't cost a fortune. Anna's was a wedding dress. It was really gorgeous on her. We had a blast.
